Resumes and Job Hunt

After a job loss, use your personal network for leads and moral support

Job hunts are stretching even longer for the growing number of unemployed. Try not to be ashamed of losing a position, urges Jamaica Eilbes, a recruiter for staffing company Manpower Inc. “Everybody knows somebody who’s been let go,” she said.

Friends and family can help ease the anxiety of a long search for work, says Eilbes, whose husband looked for five months before finding a job.

She urges someone on the job trail to spread the news of unemployment long and far. Friends and family should get involved also; the more people who know you are looking for work, the better, Eilbes says.

Job loss...Been there. Done that. Yep, still 'there'.

I think losing my job was one of those defining moments in life. I had a choice...to lose my way (my mind) or rise to the challenge
and follow what my Spirit tells me to do, always remembering that I
am more than a statistic on the news.

I'll share with you what I was told the day I got "set free" (laid off) from my job: "This is a new chapter in your life. WRITE ONE HELL OF A CHAPTER!" And I did just that! Will you?

So if you need a break from the doom and gloom, then let me send you a FREE (no strings) book download. Sign up at: www.noexpertsneeded dot com

Times are tough, but it doesn't mean that we can't still 'give back'!

take care,
