The so-called personality test is disgusting. Period.
For instance, I came across an application that wanted me to rank which of the following was more important;
"Good Pay" or "Challenging Work"
...this is not even open for debate. The only reason anyone applies for a job is to get PAID. If the employer is not paying a living wage at the very least (and many are not), than nothing else about the job matters.
To the exact degree the job is challenging, the pay should match.
As far as personality tests, there already is a test and it is called the job interview.
If an employer cannot meet an applicant, look him or her in the eye and decide if they are the one for the job, then it is in fact the employer who is not qualified to hire someone in the first place.
