JOB: P-Patch community garden coordinators for Seattle Department of Neighborhoods

CUBICLE RAVE: “When not hanging out in their cube, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods’ staff is out visiting and overseeing the 73 P-Patch community gardens located throughout Seattle. The cubes are decorated with photo displays from every P-Patch, along with plants and décor reflecting an organic and collaborative space. Visiting gardens is a great way to spend the summer. But during the winter months — when staff is helping gardeners renew plots and plan for the next year — the P-Patch cubes are a pretty nice place to be.” (Submitted by Lois Maag, community relations strategic advisor for the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods)
