My First Job: Kim Bedier, general manager

Kim Bedier

Current position: General manager of the Everett Events Center, a 10,000-seat arena in downtown Everett that opened in 2003.

First job: Working as a dishwasher in a Winnipeg hotel restaurant.

Pay: $4.25 an hour (1974)
