Demand: Jobs in the computer industry are expected to be among the fastest- growing occupations over the next decade, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The growth of the Internet and the expansion of the Web have generated a variety of occupations related to the design, development and maintenance of Web sites and their servers. Internet developers or Web developers, also called Web designers, are responsible for day-to-day site creation and design.
