Two days of advice and networking for job seekers

NWjobs

With the President's Day holiday, the job-seeker networking event schedule has been somewhat shortened this week. But the next 48 hours will still offer a host of great opportunities to mingle with potential job contacts and get advice on how to land that new job--or even start your own business. Also, as we celebrate today the 43 men who have held the highest office of the land, I felt it was appropriate to point out a couple of events to help improve the business stature of the other half of the population--the hard-working women of the Puget Sound region.

So, without further ado...

Where: Bellevue City Hall, Bellevue. When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost: $35; $25 for WIN members.

Seattle Job Social - After raising $400 to help the people of Haiti at last month's event, the Seattle Job Social (SJS) is back once more with corporate representatives from Starbucks, Allied Barton, Moss Adams, NCSoft, Allen Partners, Protingent, Vertafore, Amazon, HTC, Rylem, NorthWestern Mutual and others.
