These October networking events are a 'fall classic'
NWjobs
Hey job seekers! I'm away this weekend celebrating my wedding anniversary down on the Oregon Coast. But I'm not one to leave my readers hanging as the fall networking seasons gets into full swing. The first half of October is packed with a great collection of meetups, job fairs and workshops.
For instance, those who are looking to make a significant detour in their career paths should check out Career Transitions over the next two weekends in Bellevue. Sponsored by Bellevue College's Center for Career Connections, the $99 workshop will help you identify your interests, strengths and transferable skills using the Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment. Find the career options to fit your skills and experience, and get the latest information on re-training. The all-day classes will be held Oct. 8-9 and Oct. 15-16.
