Emeritus Senior Living

It has been a busy year for Emeritus, the Seattle-based network of senior living communities and provider of senior care. Their acquisition of more than 170 communities has made them the largest senior living provider in the country, with more than 400 communities nationwide, 27 of them in Washington state. With such a major expansion comes a lot of new employees, and the message from them is that they're pretty impressed. "We just joined the Emeritus family, but already they have greeted us with open arms and have been very helpful with our transition," one new staff member says. Emeritus management has been diligent in its efforts to make sure they address the questions and concerns of all their new workers, meanwhile inducting them into a culture of health care where every action and decision is held up against the company's "7 Family Values," all aimed toward the goal of making a difference in their residents' lives every day.
